It’s episode one of Apocalypse Sports Radio, and boy do we have a doozy! Listen here, and check out the time stamps below (the podcast will soon be available on iTunes, Spotify, etc., I’ll shout out links next time):

0:00: A very special intro with famous clips from sports history set to music. A tried-and-true intro format…no need to improve on greatness.

3:40: Apocalypse Sports Trivia: be the first to answer the question, and become famous when I mention your name in the next podcast.

4:50: An interview with Mark Stevens, the minority owner of the Golden State Warriors who famously shoved Kyle Lowry in last year’s NBA finals, was suspended a year, and fined $500,000. He’s here to offer his perspective on what went down that day, and what he’s been up to since.

24:20: I’m joined by good pals, Slack-heads, and general NFL whizzes Miles Cottom and Jake Weindling to talk about the NFL draft in what I’m dubbing “THE SERIOUS SEGMENT.”

58:51: Billionaire business maven Spike Friedman decided to $6,000 per month to my Patreon, which was a shock. But it came with strings attached: He wanted to come on the podcast every week to give a sports take. I couldn’t turn down the money. This is Spike’s first appearance.

69:30: Easter egg.

  1. I don’t get it. This Mark Stevens guy gets all bent out of shape when a player accidentally sits on his lap during an NBA game. We had a teacher once who loved to have us sit on his lap.
